The Hands for Holly Memorial Fund is seeking talented children and young adults who have been diagnosed with cancer for their Kids with Cancer Got Talent virtual event set for February 5, 2021. Registration is open to the first 100 entries from across the country and is open to contestants aged 0-26.
“We know that children across the country have talent, and we are so excited to see what hidden talents will be submitted,” said Christine Wade, CEO & Co-Founder of HFHMF. “We aren’t just looking for singers, dancers and actors – we are looking for every type of talent, no matter how big or small. All talent levels are encouraged to participate.”
"We are looking for every type of talent, no matter how big or small. All talent levels are encouraged to participate.”
The livestream event will be hosted by radio personality, Sheri Lynch, and includes an all-star list of celebrity judges that include Brooklyn Decker, Andy Roddick, Jillian Duffy, Shana Fox, and Kamber Hejlick.
The Kids with Cancer Got Talent competition is a fundraiser that was developed in lieu of an in-person gala as planned by the Hands for Holly Fund in previous years. “Due to the pandemic, like so many others, we had to adapt and come up with an idea for a fundraiser that allowed us to be socially distant while still calling attention to our mission,” said Wade. “Kids with Cancer Got Talent is a perfect blend of family-friendly fun and celebrating talented children who have fought or are currently fighting cancer." Registration of talent ends on November 15, 2020. From there, semifinalists will be determined by the celebrity judges and our public voters (register for free!) and announced on January 1, 2021. Those finalists will compete to be signed with Evolution Talent Agency, join the Talent Inc. cast, and win from a $3,000 prize pool at the livestream event in February.
