Nevaeh, a precious 11-month-old baby girl, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) this past October.
Nevaeh's father was newly employed with Amazon Distribution when his daughter was diagnosed with ALL, so he had no personal time off. Any day off from work was without pay.
His job granted him a short leave of absence, but he has since returned to work. This gap in employment placed a significant financial hardship on the family.
He drives over an hour and a half to work, and he returns when his shift is complete to be present for his wife and his daughter. Nevaeh's mother is her full-time caregiver and is always with her at the hospital.
With the assistance of the Hands for Holly Memorial Fund, a grant was provided to Nevaeh’s family to assist with their rent while her parents focus on her care.
