After the loss of their friend and neighbor, Holly, to brain cancer, William Keith heard from many of his swimmers. In their grief, they expressed the desire to "do something;" to help other kids fight this horrific disease.
Coach William, Ballantyne Country Club (BCC) Head Swim Coach, reached out to his swimmers, their families, and their coaches and formed the "BCC Barracudas" team to run in the the Isabella Santos Foundation 5K for Kids Cancer race.
On race day the 62 person team stood strong together, remembered their lost friend, knew they were part of something bigger than themselves, and ran their hearts out in support of this fantastic cause! (Cancer really did mess with the wrong city!) Many thanks to Coach William for rounding up the troops for a great cause.
